If Your Dog Clusters…
According to Dr. William Thomas, a board certified neurologist, two (or more) seizures in a 24 hour period are cluster seizures. Because they can cause brain damage, or worse, there is a rectal and oral valium protocol. This protocol always stopped Kali’s clusters after the original seizure–as long as I was at home, awakened in time, and prepared, so that I was able to insert the liquid valium rectally with a catheter during the first seizure.
